Service Runs Deep at Schwab
Whether it’s helping our clients or supporting local nonprofits, Schwab employees have always been committed to service. What began over a decade ago as an annual day of service has evolved into a dedicated week of volunteerism across the firm: Schwab Volunteer Week.

Today: We’re expanding our pro bono volunteering projects to deliver high impact and high value service to nonprofits.
Skills-based projects have helped nonprofits build capacity in specific areas of need. Last year, more than 1,000 volunteer hours were used for skills-based events, equating to about $150,000 in value.
We are honored to be recognized as one of America’s 50 most community-minded companies by Points of Light in The Civic 50 2017 rankings. Schwab was named to The Civic 50 based on how extensively we apply our resources to community engagement, align our philanthropic work with key business functions, support community through organizational policies, and measure the social and business impact of our programs.
